Major correspondents include Woodrow Wilson, 1916-1923; George Fort Milton, 1928-1930; Franklin D. Roosevelt, 1928- 1932; and H.B. "Brad" McGinnis, 1928. Letters from 1919 to 1930 concern Hull's efforts to recognize the achievements of war hero Sergeant Alvin C. York.
